Lithuanian TB Marathon 2025
Provisions

The next stage will take place on 2025.11.01. The stage will start at 8:00 a.m.

I. OBJECTIVE

To provide operators with a chance to enhance their contesting skill.

II. PARTICIPANTS

Amateur radio enthusiasts from all countries (except participants from Russia and Belarus) are invited to participate

III. COURSE OF THE COMPETITION.

The contest series consists of nine stages. Every stage has four rounds, each 15 minutes long:

  • Round I: 06:00:00 - 06:14:59 GMT
  • Round II: 06:15:00 - 06:29:59 GMT
  • Round III: 06:30:00 - 06:44:59 GMT
  • Round IV: 06:45:00 - 06:59:59 GMT

*6.00.00 - 6.59.59 GMT for stages I, II, III, IX
4.00.00 - 4.59.59 GMT for stages IV, V, VI
5.00.00 - 5.59.59 GMT for stages VII, VIII

In every round, one CW and one SSB QSO can be made with the same station.

A contestant‘s final result for the contest series is the sum of their five best stage results.

NOTE: Recommended frequency range SSB mode 3.650-3.700 MHz

IV.CONTROL NUMBER

The control number consists of RS(T) + the connection sequence number (starting from 001).

V. POINTS

  • One QSO = 1 point;

  • The multiplier is the number of unique worked stations;

  • Points are calculated by multiplying the number of QSOs by the multiplier;

  • WLs receive 3 points for logging both sides of the QSO and 1 point for logging one side;

  • VII. CATEGORIES (GROUPS)

    • A - single operator CW/SSB. (max power 1 kW)*
    • * Maximum allowed transmitter power in Lithuania.

    • B - single operator CW/SSB. (max power 100 W)

    • C - single operator SSB only. (max power 100 W)

    • D - single operator CW only. (max power 100 W)

    • E - team, one transmitter.

    • F - SWLs.

    To compete, a participant must log at least 10 QSOs, at least 3 of which must be with stations from other cities. Logs that have less than 10 QSOs will only be accepted as checklogs.

    ATTENTION !!!
    During the entire contest series (stages I-IX) a station can participate in only one category.

    VIII. AWARDS

  • Three best stations in each category will receive diplomas and awards, and the winners of each stage will receive diplomas.

  • Contestants who are under 20 years old with the best results will receive diplomas and souvenirs.
  • IX. LOGS

  • In the log, give:
    • Time in UTC;
    • The participant's first and last names;
    • The participant's age (if the participant is less than 20 years old);
    • Category (group) that the station participated in;
    • The station's address (e-mail address);
    • It is recommended to send logs in Cabrillo format. It is not mandatory to count points;
    • Logs should be sent no later than 3 days after the stage of the contest to the e-mail address:

    • Logs that are sent after the deadline will only be accepted as checklogs.
