LHFA activity weekend

 Vidmantas - LY2HT will be active from hill forts, MA-53 and MA-52. They plans to work on frequency      3660.0 KHz from 05.00 UTC. [ info LY2HT ]     

Andrius - LY3AB will be active from hill fort TE-11. They plans to work on 80m. band, from 04.00 UTC.

Petras - LY2KM will be active from hill forts UT-42 and UT-44. They plans to work all bands SSB and CW, from 05.00 UTC. [ info LY2KM ]

Vladas - LY1CG will be active from hill horts VI-01 and VI-05. They plans to work 80m. band, SSB and CW, from 05.00 UTC. [ info LY1CG ]

There were 39 hill-fort activations in 2013. Expeditioners activated 80 hill-forts, 15 of them for the first time. Expeditions were conducted by 15 radio amateurs, including four for the first time. This guys were  LY1SR, LY1YZ, LY2OU and LY2XV. Most active was LY1SR, zigzagging 26 hill-forts. This is a good example of how addictive and with and with a desire can be something done.

On July 6th, the day of the coronation of King Mindaugas, there was organized LHFA  activity day. We had four expeditions. I think it is going to become a tradition every year.

All the hill-forts activators who visited at least 25 hill-forts received  LHF-ACTIVATOR awards, and some of them with stickers.

Last year we received all the activators`logs except one. So far we failed to implement the LHFA electronic log. We do not give up with this idea and I think it will happen this year.
